Forward into China and India
July 2006 heralded the start of Sport Knowledge Australia’s (SKA) educational and management programmes in China and India.
The first three day residential programme on Sports Facilities Management (SFM) was delivered by SKA’s Senior Education
Associates, Jeremy Evans, to an audience of government officials, sports administrators, facilities managers
and postgraduate students.

Management Programme To Feature Exclusive Case Study
Following on from last year’s Sport Knowledge Australia’s (SKA) industry-acclaimed Executive Sport Management Programme,
comes an updated 2006 version to be held at Sydney Olympic Park from 15-20 October.
A new in-depth case study delves into the strategic development of football in Asia, prepared for
SKA by Professor David Shilbury of Deakin University.

SKA Study Singles Out Neill as Top Socceroo

Judged by many as the best Socceroo at the World Cup, Lucas Neill has now been singled out by science.
A study by SKA Elite Sport Coaching Symposium presenter Dr Istvan Gorgenyi, who analysed the Australian team's
use of space on the field during the World Cup campaign, found that Neill was omnipresent.
