High Performance Unit Management Programme Run with Success
Sydney hosted performance managers at Sport Knowledge Australia's inaugural High Performance Unit Management Programme
in August this year. Participants from across Australia and New Zealand, Malaysia, South Africa and the United Kingdom
had the opportunity to engage with leading practitioners and academics in the field.

Australia Secures Bid to Educate Future Olympic Leaders
The International Olympic Committee (IOC), Olympic Solidarity and the European Olympic Committees’ (EOC) have chosen
Australia to host the Executive Masters in Sport Organisation Management programme (MEMOS) in 2008. Sport Knowledge
Australia (SKA) and the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) will provide higher education to Olympic organisers from around
the world.

Thomson, the world’s oldest, largest and most successful distance education provider, sources its higher education sport courses exclusively from Sport Knowledge Australia, and in October 2007, Thomson will be accepting enrolments for the first subject offerings.

Science Through Sport Bound for UK
In response to a crisis in science education, SKA has developed a secondary school's science
teaching resource called Science Through Sport which effectively conveys science principles using popular, engaging and interactive sport scenarios. Recently, distribution agreements were signed for Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Australia and India in the Asia-Pacific Region Forum
Government and business leaders, including Australia's Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Indian High Commissioner, Chairman of the Australia India Business Council and SKA CEO, met at the University of Sydney on 22 June to discuss future links between India
and Australia in the Asia-Pacific Region.
