SKA acknowledges the challenges that face women’s sport, disabled and indigenous sport and hope that SKA can in its own
small way assist in the meeting of these challenges. As such, SKA offers a Half Scholarship for each of the 3 categories
– women in sport, indigenous sport and disabled sport – for each of its Residential Programmes. This Half Scholarship will
provide for half of the total cost, including the meals and accommodation.
Successful scholarship applicants will work in an area directly related to the promotion of sport for women, the disabled
and indigenous, and will fit the profile that SKA expects of participants in that they will be of a level of status and
experience for them to benefit optimally in a personal sense and be able to contribute to classes. We are intent on a
stringent screening of participants in the belief that it will help to ensure a high level of learning.
Scholarships will only be awarded if applicants meet our entry standards.
Scholarship applicants should fill out the normal online course application form,
simply select the scholarship category being applied for, and fill out the section
justifying your inclusion within the category selected.
Applicants will be notified approx 6 weeks prior to course commencement date of status of application.
