Overview
Technological developments in sport are accelerating. One area of intense interest is in the
area of player tracking during training and competition. As athletes are pushed to their physical
limits there is a need to be able to recognise signs of optimal - versus over-training. GPS-based
technologies are being increasingly relied upon to monitor player performance, to help set
effective conditioning drills and to quantify overall training loads.
The seminar will provide in-depth understanding of the latest, leading-edge knowledge in GPS
technologies and their applications.
