Overview
Too often politicians, event managers and event owners propose economic impacts that are spurious and self-serving.
As the event industry grows to major proportions and uses huge amounts of public monies, its accountability must grow.
SKA’s seminar will seek to develop consensus on the development of benchmark economic impact models as well as the
inclusion of social and environmental impact models for major events. International as well as Australian expertise
will be among presenters in the workshop dominated format.
